torque release technique
scientific - gentle - effective
What is the Torque Release Technique?
Dr. Kat specializes in the Torque Release Technique (TRT), which has been proven through research, to be one of the most specific, scientific chiropractic techniques in the world. Torque Release Technique provides people of all ages with some of the most gentle and reproducible chiropractic adjustments available. We utilize this technique to uncover the root cause of health concerns.
Torque Release Technique was not created for a specific condition, but specifically created out of random controlled trials for the purpose of increasing state of well-being and human potential.
What is the instrument you use?
The Integrator is the only FDA approved instrument in chiropractic. It is designed to gently realign spinal bone misalignments But unlike the slower speed of the hand, the integrator is able to adjust at a speed of 1/10,000th of a second.
Who can benefit from it?
The wonderful part about the Torque Release Technique is that it is safe and effective for all ages. From babies, children, adults, to seniors. Practice members enjoy the specific adjustment without the twisting, cracking, and popping of manual adjusting.
What is so unique about the Torque Release Technique?
The technique is so effective because of its power to analyze and correct subluxations (spinal misalignments). Subluxations interrupt the brain’s communication with the body. Torque Release Technique addresses what’s called the primary subluxation, which reduces spinal cord tension and nerve root irritation in a shorter amount of time, with longer-lasting results.
We are privileged to see amazing results in our practice on a daily basis. Some incredible benefits may include improved sleep, improved digestion, reduced medication, reduced anxiety, reduced sinus issues, freedom from headaches and migraines, and of course reduced back and neck pain, and so much more.
When stress is removed from the nervous system, your body is able to heal the way it was designed to. True healing comes from the inside out, and we believe that is possible for you!
preconception - pregnancy - postpartum
Dr. Kat is committed to supporting moms in the preconception, pregnancy, and postpartum period by providing specific care, and supporting them as they walk through the life changing experience of motherhood. She believes that women should feel empowered and informed as they transition into becoming a mother.
What is the Webster Technique?
The Webster technique is a specific chiropractic analysis used to reduce the effects of sacral subluxation/SI dysfunction. In doing so, neuro-biomechanical function in the pelvis is facilitated. Sacral subluxation may contribute to difficult labor for the mother (i.e., dystocia), caused by inadequate uterine function, pelvic contraction, and baby mal-presentation. Correction of sacral subluxation may have a positive effect on all of these causes of dystocia.
The Webster technique can balance a pregnant mother's pelvis
so she and her baby can experience a safe and comfortable birth.
Care during Preconception / Fertility
The nerves in the lower back region control the function of reproductive organs. When your spine is in proper alignment, your body will be free of nerve interference and this promotes optimal function pre-conception and may improve fertility outcomes.
Benefits prior to pregnancy may include:
Promotion of regular menstrual cycles
Optimization of proper uterine function
Preparation of healthy implantation
Proper nerve supply to reproductive organs
Care during Pregnancy
Chiropractic care during pregnancy reduces interference to the mother’s nervous system, which coordinates all systems and functions within her body.
Benefits during pregnancy may include:
Proper alignment of the pelvic muscles, ligaments, and bony structures, which prepares the pelvis for an easier pregnancy and birth
Reduced torsion to the woman’s uterus by removing tension on the ligaments that support the uterus
Allows for a safer and easier birth for the mother, decreasing the potential for intervention such as inducement or C-section
Detection and prevention of fetal malposition (breech and transverse babies)
Reduction in pelvic and back pain as mom’s body grows with her growing baby
The Webster Technique implemented throughout the duration of pregnancy not only relieves common complaints such as low back pain, but structurally aligns the pelvis for both mom and baby to be in perfect position for an optimal birth.
Care during Postpartum
Mothers experience lots of changes postpardum. Chiropractic care postpartum is extremely benefical to support a mother's nervous system function optimally.
Benefits during postpartum may include:
Increased comfort while breastfeeding
Increased production of breast milk
Restoration the body’s emotions and hormones
Decreased incidence of postpartum depression
Encourage an optimal environment and nerve supply to a mother’s body as she recovers from pregnancy and delivery
